At times, you are forced to Suspend domain names because of different reasons, some of which may include abuse complaints or non-receipt of payment towards domain name transfer services\/renewal\/registration etc..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/manage2.gossimer.com\/kb\/servlet\/KBServlet\/faq569.html\">How to Suspend\/Unsuspend Domain Names in Bulk<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Suspension of a domain name means disruption of one and all services that are associated with that particular domain name. This includes email hosting, web hosting etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Because of the restrictions that are imposed by Registry, <strong>HostITSmart<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>is unable to Suspend\/Unsuspend the domain names with following TLDs (extensions):<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.UK<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.EU<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.DE<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.CA<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is not possible to modify the <strong>Name Servers <\/strong>or <strong>Contact Details <\/strong>of a domain name while it is suspended.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">If one tries to make a <strong>Transfer (away) Request <\/strong>for a suspended domain name to another Registrar, it will fail at the Registry level itself.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The only exception to this rule is domain names ending with .AU extensions. Because .AU Registry does not allow blocking transfers, one is allowed to make transfers on suspended domain names also.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">One would not be able to make <strong>Deletion<\/strong> or <strong>Renewal<\/strong> of domain names with suspended status.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Any Transfer\/Push\/Move of suspended domain name to some other customer account would also fail.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Only <strong>HostITSmart<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>or you are allowed to Unsuspend a domain name that you suspended.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">You are not allowed to Unsuspend a domain name that has been suspended by <strong>HostITSmart<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Under no circumstances can a customer Unsuspend a suspended domain name.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Steps to Suspend\/Unsuspend a given Domain Name<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Access your <strong>Control Panel <\/strong>and look for the domain name you would like to Suspend\/Unsuspend.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Go to <strong>Order Details <\/strong>view.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Now,<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To Suspend a Domain Name<\/span>:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Click on link that says <strong>Lock\/Suspend.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Click on radio button called <strong>Suspend, <\/strong>input the reason for suspending the domain and click <strong>Update.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Your Customer\/Sub-Reseller (depending on who the domain name belongs to: your Customer or your Sub-Reseller\u2019s customer) would be able to see the reason you enter for suspension from their <strong>Control Panel&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Order Details <\/strong>view.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To Unsuspend a Domain Name<\/span>:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Click on the button that says <strong>Unsuspend Order.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"smalltext\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">Click on the radio button called <strong>No Restriction<\/strong> and click <strong>Update.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HostITSmart&nbsp;provides a very useful feature to its Resellers in the form of Order Suspension.
